Phil Spector
My recently revived interest in the Ronettes has coincided with the conviction yesterday of Phil Spector for murder. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/apr/14/phil-spector-murder-conviction-appeal It's interesting reading about the case how there seems to be some element of doubt but, nevertheless, he's going down to walls of brick rather than sound (I know, that's cheap). All the pictures and reports alongside what I have read about the man from the time he was married to Ronnie suggest a weirdo and a half, to say the least. I wonder how much this has influenced any decisions that juries and others have reached.
